Mr Sandeep
Batra, Chief Finanical Officer of the Company,
was appointed as a Wholetime Director with
effect from 1 April 2007.
Born in 1965, Mr Batra joined the ICI Group
in 1988. He is a Chartered Accountant and
has held a variety of finance, commercial
and business roles including that of the Chief
Financial Officer of the erstwhile Explosives
business of the Company and then the CEO of
its Joint Venture with Ensign Bickford. In
2002 he moved to Paints business and played
a key role in the execution of its turnaround
plan which successfully transformed the business
as the fastest growing paint company in India.
From 2006 onwards he is the Chief Financial
Officer of the Company. |
